Bellingen Community Arts Council/Nexus Community Gallery

Bellingen Community Arts Council has been promoting the arts in Bellingen Shire since 1996 and has over 300 members. We run a year round program of art exhibitions at our community gallery, Nexus, located at the Old Butter Factory in Bellingen. Nexus is available to local artists, some who may not otherwise have the opportunity to exhibit in a commercial gallery environment.

We run three members’ group shows each year and hold the annual Bellingen Art Prize every October long weekend which is judged by eminent Australian artists. We are in the process of securing an accessible space to hold community art workshops.

We offer:

• Accessible gallery
• Accessible toilets
