WIRES Wildlife Rescue

WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.) has been rescuing and caring for native animals since 1985. Our mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same. We have over 2500 volunteers in 27 branches around NSW who are involved in the rescue and care of wildlife and we have a dedicated Rescue Office that operates 365 days a year assisting the public to help animals in distress. Our dedicated volunteers rescue and care for tens of thousands of animals every year. All WIRES wildlife carers are trained and give their time and care free of charge.

To find out more about how you can get involved visit WIRES website or call 1300 094 737 to speak with someone at the Rescue Office.
