Our Team

We ensure that all of our staff are suitable to work with our client groups by –

  • undertaking Federal Police checks prior to employment and every 3 years
  • effective recruitment and selection processes including referee checks
  • effective induction processes including peer mentoring
  • providing ongoing support, supervision and performance review
  • undertaking competency assessments
  • providing ongoing training and development.

All clients are allocated a Support Planner who can –

  • assist them to work out what best suits their individual needs
  • provide information about our programs and other services
  • help identify strengths and goals
  • develop a plan of support
  • make referrals to other services as needed
  • arrange for direct services if needed and available
  • monitor and review services to ensure that they continue to meet identified needs
  • assist in coordination of services
  • help people plan for the future.

Our Support Planners have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, are working towards these and/or have extensive experience in community care.

Clients receiving direct support services will be assisted by a team of Support Workers who have or are working towards Certificate 3 in Aged, Disability or Community Care, a current first aid certificate, a current NSW driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
