Our History

Community Care Options was formed in 1990 with a mission of supporting and improving the quality of life and independence of people living within our local community. In 1996, Community Care Options became an Incorporated Association and in 2017, following years of significant growth, Community Care Options went on to become a Company Limited by Guarantee.

Community Care Options is a Government funded, not for profit, community based organisation ably governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We receive funding from the Federal and New South Wales Governments to provide a range of programs intended to support people in their own home. We provide support to a uniquely diverse range of people being people who are aged, people with dementia, veterans, people who have disabilities and whom have complex support needs, people who are being discharged from hospital, people in need of end of life care and carers of these people. We can also support any other member of our community on a few for service basis.

Community Care Options provides service to eligible people living in the Nambucca, Bellingen and Coffs Harbour LGAs covering areas as far as Red Rock, Scott’s Head and Dorrigo.
